Michael is the teacher that everyone remembers from high school; the one who takes a personal interest in each student and truly cares about them individually. He goes out of his way to provide ample feedback, to create opportunities for students to get involved in our school - such as Art Club - and to leverage technology to help students and teachers alike. Michael is introspective and evaluative. He regularly provides well articulated suggestions for strengthening our programs and processes, which helps Mountain Heights Academy to succeed. It is a pleasure to work with Michael!

Michael and I have worked extensively together on projects, courses, presentations, events, curriculum, clubs and professional development. Michael is extremely reliable and hard-working. I very much enjoy collaborating with him because I know that he will deliver quality work Michael is always innovating, creating, trying new things, and he is not afraid to fail and jump right in. His curriculum is engaging and exciting, and he willingly shares what he learns with our department. What impresses me most about Michael is that he cares about each student, and works hard to build relationships with each one. He does not give up on them, and his optimism and positivity are well-received.

I was the art teacher at Mountain Heights Academy an online charter school in Utah. I had the greatest experience using technology to individually work with students and provide them with an amazing art education! During my time at MHA, I developed my own curriculum, creating classes and resources. I also grew as an educator and a person! I taught K-8th grade students at Endeavor Hall on a part time basis. It was so fun to work with a diverse population with a variety of needs. It was an amazing experience honing my skills as an in-person educator. I also got the opportunity to coach the soccer team at Endeavor Hall.
