I used a strong consultative skillset to develop professional relationships with other campus units to understand processes and needs and use this knowledge to identify opportunities for collaboration and project development.I provided strategic leadership in online learning that helped foster the St. John’s University, The School of Education experience through online and innovative learning. This position lived at the exciting intersection of learning design, learning media, learning innovation, and a variety of student services and promotes their effective integration into teaching and learning.Other duties related to online learning: Fostering collaborative leadership to develop online and innovative learning; Leading effective, high-quality learning design; Promoting learning strategy and innovation; Supporting effective online and innovative learning student services; Assisting with unit leadership.The America Reads Program was inspired by America Reads/America Counts, a national academic-assistance effort established by the Clinton administration in 1997. As a director, I managed student work experiences related to education-based, with students mentoring and tutoring at local libraries, schools, and community centers.
