Dale Cody
I was privileged to report directly to Sherilyn during her tenure as VP of Engineering at CarDomain Network. She is an extremely smart, capable and detail-oriented leader who knows how to get things done in a very positive inspiring fashion. Her deep understanding of business, technology, software development and program management really enabled us to move the bar forward and accomplish some amazing things. She brought real process to the table and streamlined interactions between the Dev, Creative, QA and PM groups so that we all operated with much greater efficiency and collaboration. I think she really understands the differences between leadership and management. She is superbly competent with both those roles and somehow manages to strike that perfect balance between them. Under her stewardship, we not only made great progress on internal product improvement, but we also delivered some very complex projects involving the Ad Sales Team, external agencies and other stakeholders. The result was some really significant boosts in direct advertising revenue for projects with tremendous public visibility. These were all delivered on very tight deadlines and none of them compromised our internal product road map. We could not have accomplished this without Sherilyn’s leadership. I feel fortunate to have worked under Sherilyn and feel I learned a great deal during this time. She has a wonderful sense of humor and makes you feel like you can really achieve your potential. I would happily work with her again at the first opportunity.
