He fought me how humour, encouragement, positive critique could all be used to advance and engage participants even in the most dry subject areas. Built a multi-product education department across Misys banking product range, coached consultants in training skills, increased training revenues.Also worked in account management, project management, implementation consultancy and documentation.2001 - 2002 UK Sales• Client manager for 28 banks in London, with target sales of modules and upgrades. • Sold a complete Private Banking system to Fortis, a major international bank. Other sales included Trade Innovation (a trade finance solution). Signed £750,000 in product and services revenue. 1996 – 2001 Manager, Education Department• Built a department of 9 staff that operated across, and integrated products from, acquired companies. Client training revenues rose from £700,000 to £1.4 million.• Worked with director responsible for delivering the Euro-compliance solution to all Misys banking clients worldwide (1,000+); in particular to provide support to banks using the Midas product (700+) ensuring they understood the implications of the new currency and how Misys’ solutions met the new legislative requirements. 1994 -1995 Consultant and Project Manager• Based in Moscow providing training, sales support, consultancy and project management to clients in the Former Soviet Union• Implemented Midas ABS release 10.5 at International Bank of Azerbaijan in Baku, keeping to a fixed price budget. • Overtook ‘earlier’ projects elsewhere in the former Soviet Union, became the regional alpha site and so won extra technical support from the development centre. • This project was remote – there was only occasional phone contact between Baku and Moscow or London – so I had to manage issues independently.
