Bio
Timothy M. Jones
Carlos Brown, affectionately known as "Señor" to his students, is a dedicated, passionate and tireless educator. Carlos is not only expert in his subject area but works with other faculty to apply his subject matter across curricula. In the four years we have worked together, on multiple occasions we have collaborated to present history lessons about Latin America where students have read articles in Spanish about topics we are covering in history class. they have been exceptional experiences for students and teachers alike. Carlos is involved not only in our student's intellectual development but also in the development of their character and extracurricular pursuits as he coaches two varsity sports and runs the student newspaper. He is well loved by his students and respected by faculty both inside and outside of his department. He was recognized last year by the graduating student body as outstanding teacher and I entirely agree with their conclusion. He is a valued part of our community and I recommend him without hesitation.
Chris Giles
