Karman Space Programme consists of eighty students from different departments at Imperial College London. Their goal is to reach space using a reusable rocket. As a Team X engineer, I am responsible for electromechanical work for test rockets, including designing and manufacturing rocket components in the airframe and avionics. Summer Engineer Intern

The Lab (Asia) Ltd, a subsidiary of SGS Group, is an independent materials testing, inspection and consulting company serving the construction, civil engineering, highways, airports and associated industries. Internship contributions: - Developed a mass file data management and checking system using Excel VBA programming with data input from multiple external spreadsheet files. Presented system usage steps and results to senior engineer and members of technical team. - Began design of OCR program using Python for file documentation with improved efficiency for the calibration team. Performs OCR with Pytesseract on material test certificates and data sheets thus amends documentation of files with much less time compared to manual amendments. - Performed multiple visits to soil, concrete and steel laboratories with engineers and technicians - Assisted and alleviated technical team members’ routine responsibilities including file delivery recording, file documentation, technical checking system on concrete and soil test reports, amending technical manuals etc.
