Andrea has an extraordinary passion for dance and children. Under her leadership, Dance Houston has evolved into a model organization for the city of Houston. Andrea has taking the organization from presenting dance festivals to setting standards in dance and so much more. Andrea used her creativity and business acumen to increase awareness in the dance community, ensure that dancers are gainfully employed with fair wages and establish dance programs to combat obesity in Houston. Andrea is an incredibly hard worker and would be an asset to any organization that wants to go to the next level.

Ms. Cody gave me the opportunity to work for Dance Houston, and it has been a truly full-filling work experience to me. Her leadership and organizational skills have been invaluable to Dance Houston. She has excellent communication skills. In addition, she is extremely organized and reliable. Ms. Cody can work independently and is able to follow through to ensure that the job gets done. It is for these reasons that I offer high recommendations for Ms. Cody without reservation.

I am the Director of a nonprofit arts organization that promotes dance as an art form and an instrument to serve the community. I've produced performances and festivals highlighting diversity in dance. Currently, Dance Houston manages commissions and bookings for 60 performing artists and educational programs for 30 teaching artists. Our services provide healthy and wholesome activities to 4,000 children annually. One of my most rewarding experiences in life was given to me by the community of artists and childcare professionals at Project Row Houses. The children here have given me happiness, memories, learning experiences, friendships, and a long-lasting support system.
