Michael and I worked together at Pushpay as he played a critical role in developing the senior leadership team's understanding of the market opportunity. Michael brings a strategic perspective to the business and possesses a strong level of natural curiosity that allows him to understand the tactical issues impacting revenue execution. Michael has incredibly strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate clearly and simply, making him a persuasive leader. His in-depth analysis helped the leadership team pivot quickly to focus on mid-size and enterprise accounts which led us to grow the company from $25M in FY17 to $100M in FY18. I had the privilege of working closely Michael during the three years we were at Pushpay together. Michael impressed me in many ways during that time, but two ways in particular stood out. The first was his calm, unflappable demeanor. Michael was routinely tasked with high-impact, high-pressure projects that had visibility not only with our executive team and board but with our investors as well. While others seemed to crack and waver under the pressure, Michael remained a pillar of sanity and stability during those times. The second thing that impressed me was Michael's curiosity and hunger to learn. His role seemed to evolve dramatically every six months or so with each evolution bringing exposure to and ownership over a new part of the business. Michael embraced these changes and was quick to identify opportunities both inside and outside the company to broaden his skill set and increase his mastery of whatever new role he had taken on.
