Having worked with Jody as both her academic advisor and also her instructor for two courses at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, I found her to be an exceptional student. As an advisee, I will always remember Jody for her preparation, attention to detail, willingness to take initiative, and time management skills. She arrived at each advising session with a well devised plan in mind, and always asked well thought out questions. I was impressed by her ability to successfully negotiate her time between a full time course load and a full time job. I also had the opportunity to evaluate Jody’s work as a student as I was her instructor for two courses; Organizational Communication and Interviews and Interviewing. Jody excelled in all areas of both courses. In my mind, her greatest strength was an ability to evaluate theory and literature and apply it to real world situations. Her writing is very strong, and her contribution to discussion forums was both insightful and educational for all involved. Jody is a confident, focused and driven individual. I have known Jody since we studied together at The University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee in 2003. I was fortunate to have her as a trusted partner in a couple courses and recommended her for a position at Seneca Foods where we worked together for two years. Honestly, I would take her with me or follow her anywhere! She is a critical and strategic thinker who can expand ideas outside the box in order to solve problems and achieve fantastic results. She is meticulous and takes pride in her work. Above all else, she is a genuine person and relationship building comes natural to her.
