      Born From a collaboration between jazz musician and musicologist – Jean-Michel Cohen-Solal and Thierno Camara – one of the greatest bassists of his generation and a virtuoso performer – Tinton Groove was an Afro-Jazz Fusion Band with musical roots in Senegal and East Africa imbued with Pop, Jazz, Fusion and R & B. Thierno Camara toured with some of the greatest Senegalese musicians, including Thione Seck, Cheikh Lô and Kine Lam. Jean-Michel Cohen-Solal and Thierno Camara met on stage while playing for Makane Kouyate, Master drummer, during a performance at Silvana club in New York City. Jean-Michel Cohen-Solal and Thierno Camara had also performed together on different stages in New York, including Farafina Lounge, The Shrine, Amsterdam Social and Zinc Bar to name a few. Show less
