Sofia is one of a kind manager and a great leader. She is one of the best managers I have ever had! It is challenging to describe in words how awesome Sofia is. While she was my manager I got outstanding coaching tips, and great support every time I needed it. Sofia is a positive person, spreading it to the atmosphere around her. It did not take more than a week or two for Sofia, after starting her position in our team, to understand the team's challenges and with great energy and very clever actions clear away obstacles, making the work more efficient and creating a great working environment.

Sofia has been my manager during my last year at EA DICE, from Summer 2021 to May 2022. During this time, I’ve enjoyed her passion, humour, quick and effective decision-making, and her rare ability to deeply listen to a reporter’s needs. While I was in her team, she had dozens of engineers that reported to her. Considering the huge amount of work on her table, it is beyond me how she managed to find the time to listen carefully during our 1:1’s, to coach and to prepare her thorough follow-ups for the next meeting, where she would never fail to address all the points raised in the previous one. And not only that: she makes sure to tell everyone that her door is always open for anyone looking for help. I’ve experienced her kindness multiple times and it’s contagious! She cares deeply about team morale and she believes that there’s no high-performing team without a friendly and welcoming team culture. I truly believe her efforts and the initiatives she’s championed yielded happier and more effective teams. Sofia is without a doubt one of the best managers I’ve had in my career, and it’s been extremely sad for me to lose her guidance and support when I’ve left EA DICE. That said, I am excited for whoever gets to be in her team, and I truly hope that one day we will have the opportunity to work together again :)
