Mandi is an exceptional young woman who will continue to invest her many gifts in making an impact for the Kingdom. She was an excellent student in the Career and Calling class, and served as a shining example to others of what a life fully committed to God looks like. Mandi has very strong leadership skills that she is intentional about using and developing. I look forward to seeing how the Lord uses her gifts to make a difference in the Church and the world.

I have had the privilege and pleasure of knowing Amanda since she was a young child because our families are both members of Messiah Lutheran Church in Fairview Park, OH. There are many reasons to highly recommend Mandi, including the facts that she is intelligent, talented, hard-working, enthusiastic, extremely pleasant, caring, responsible, reliable, dedicated, courteous, faithful, and friendly. Mandi maintained a great GPA throughout high school even while she was participating in a variety of extracurricular activities including acting in or assisting with the stage crew for six plays at her Cleveland Lutheran High School West and working as a photographer especially posting pictures of athletic events on the high school’s website. Even more than that, I have been impressed by Mandi’s hundreds of hours of volunteer service at church and in the community. Those volunteer activities include multiple mission trips to help people around the country who were suffering from natural disasters such as hurricanes and twice attending a Bethesda special needs camp for adults who are mentally or physically handicapped. Mandi has been a leader, planner, and organizer with our church’s Youth Group for at least four years. I have had the pleasure of personally working with Mandi as she served actively and faithfully for the past two years as a youth representative on our Church Council and on the Education and Enrichment Committee which I chair. She has also served on our church’s Youth Leadership Team and has led Bible studies and other youth events. Her deep faith and commitment to serving God through service to people is evidenced by her intention to have a career probably in church youth ministry. Mandi would an outstanding asset for any organization, and she will undoubtedly benefit many people with her service. We need more people in this world like her.
