Lilach Shalom
Asaf is one of those people you're happy to come to the office everyday because he is there. His depth understanding of human interaction and sense of humor didn't just earn him friends at work, but also was a key of the success of this work. Asaf takes his work very seriously and showed me the true meaning of a Product Owner. With his connection to the customers and the ability to deliver the requirements to R&D with the full sense of partnership. With the passion to see the product succeeds and paying attention to the details we did beautiful things together.

Asaf is simply amazing. His analytical skills, fast-thinking, decision making, and work dedication were just on another level. He is one of the few people I worked with, that always gave his 110%. Extremely responsive, no matter how much pressure he was under, very organized, and just a great team member. A fast-witted person with a great sense of humor, which he kept even when we were under a lot of stress. I really enjoyed working with him and hope to have the same opportunity in the future.

Company size: 70 employees I managed a performance marketing SaaS platform (B2B). I was the first PM in the company and the only one for a year, and over time built a team of 3 PMs. In the day-to-day work I was gathering requirements, analyzed competitors, managed the R&D backlog, planned releases, and designed UX. A big part of my role was working closely with developers (in Israel and Bulgaria) and guiding them through the development cycle. Accomplishments: * Oversaw a user interface overhaul, including a new navigation system. * Bridged the gap between the data in the platform and the company's finances. * Built customer support infrastructure and managed the Zendesk. * Created a knowledgebase for our product, wrote content and kept it up to date. This was used by users and developers alike. * Increased the trust and collaboration between cross-functional teams in the company. Show less

Company size: 15-20. Creative agency for startups. 2016-2017: I managed an analytics SaaS platform from concept to beta. It's for Kickstarter campaign creators who want to control the project finances, monitor the campaign's success and promote their campaign. I wrote the all the product documents, created a roadmap, designed UX, worked closely with the content writer and I lead the developers and designers. 2015-2016: I provided UX and PM services for B2C and B2B startups. Came up with new product concepts, wrote requirements, did product marketing, designed UX and lead the design and development of many mobile apps, web apps and e-commerce sites. My clients were from many industries: cyber security, health, finance, ad tech, education, consumer gadgets and more. Show less

Company size: 500 employees. I was part of the Mobile Forensics division. I was the first UX hire in the company, before it even had PMs. I filled the PM void for products that didn't have a PM. * Designed new products from concept to launch (with paying customers), as well as new features for existing products. * Guided the dev and QA teams. * Conducted usability tests. * Standardized the way the company approaches UX. * Worked on the company's entire product portfolio, including desktop, web and even proprietary mobile hardware platforms. Wrote product reviews (laptops, smartphones, gadgets), Internet phenomena, social network news and broader articles about things like super computers and innovations in digital photography. A big part of my job was to explain complex subjects to a broad audience in a way that's easy to comprehend even if you're not an expert. Continued for 2 more years as a freelancer. Accomplishment: My article about the Google+ launch got more views than the news about the cottage cheese protest, which happened on the same day. Show less
