      I have held two major positions in my time at Randall. I began my career as a Response to Intervention (RTI) teacher for science students, helping students better understand and perform in their science subjects. The next year, I was added to the roster as a biology and forensic science teacher. I worked hard with my team of fellow educators to improve student comprehension and performance in Biology courses, as well as shaped and developed the fledgling Forensic Science course. In both roles, I developed engaging and meaningful course content and materials, as well as empowered students to succeed in my courses and beyond. I use various educational technologies to further engage and cement learning in my students. I utilize and maintain my courses in a learning management system (Google Classroom LMS) to create a blended learning environment and occasionally flipped classroom. As I adapt to technologies quickly and believe wholeheartedly that new technologies are the invaluable in molding the future generation into productive members of society, I have been tasked with helping fellow educators, staff and administration develop skills and proficiency with digital tools. I have assisted many individuals at all levels of the organization with the creation and use of Google Suite tools and the development of e-learning environments, the discovery and use of new educational technologies and general troubleshooting of issues. I have also been trusted by administration to be a point of contact in the implementation of our new grade book system. I have assisted many educators at my own campus and other campuses around the district with issues related to the implementation and evolution of the district's grade book technology. District leadership has appointed me to the Gradebook Advisory Committee, in which I work with committee members to improve user experineces with our gradebook platform, and push for improvements to the Gradebook software.
