From May 2012 to June 2016 I carried out research as a PhD candidate into "Free movement of civil judgments in the European Union and the right to a fair trial" at Erasmus University Rotterdam. The research was concluded in May 2016 and was successfully defended on 13 October 2016. The commercial edition of my thesis, entitled "Free movement of civil judgments in the European Union and the right to a fair trial', was published by TMC Asser Press/Springer in February 2017. This research project is part of the VIDI-project "Securing Quality in Cross-Border Enforcement: Towards European Principles of Civil Procedure?" led by Prof. dr. X. E. Kramer. Show less
