Project Assistant

Hua Tat, a Hmong minority in Moc Chau, Son La, Vietnam is a part of my memories. During the summer and winter season when I have a break time from the university, we were having a wonderful moment in a breath-taking view in this destination. We stayed in A Chu & A Trang Homestay to carry out an education project. Our group shared knowledge on how to run a business in a Comunity Based on the Tourism structure for some villagers. The workshop & classes were held between SMU students from Singapore & members from Hua Tat village. SMU university students built a website for the village and taught them about Digital Marketing. They record the story of the village during the time they stayed in Vietnam. For each summer & winter season, they divided into 3 groups of students to carry out this project. I did volunteer in the VPV organization since 2018. This was the most memorable time for me as a young ambitious student. Working in Care & Community project, I have a great opportunity to aproach with the international environment very soon since I was in the third year of my university The main target of this project is to provide summer activities between volunteers from other countries and children in Vinh Ngoc kinder garden My main roles as a project assistant: - Support volunteers in their works including providing informal interpretation and translation. - Manage and coordinate volunteers' daily activities, organizing educational game activities for children with volunteers at the placements, social events for volunteers. - Consult the office, resolve any problems or issues that arise with volunteers at the placements. - Provide logistical support in and out of the office. - Assist in preparing daily work schedules for volunteers.
