Amir and I worked together for 3 years at Whitespectre, where we managed to collaborate on several different projects and on various teams during that time. While I'm not directly qualified when it comes to assessing Amir's development skills as a Software Engineer, indirectly I can say this. From what I've seen and heard from fellow developers and technical leaders, which both me and Amir worked with. It's clear to me that Amir is a very gifted individual when it comes to developing / coding, both in terms of code quality and productive velocity. He's also very engaged and eager to learn / achieve the goals that are set in front of him. Amir's greatest traits (from my point of view) as a developer and a human being are, being cautious, humble, and calm. Him being cautious refers to the fact that he on his own, does chase down expected solutions to problems, clarifications and so on. While on a team meeting or on his own after the meetings end. Being cautious and not taking anything for granted / assuming things, is the key with Amir. His trait of being humble and calm as a person, kicks in while you're talking / having discussions with him. He listens so very well to other people's thought and ideas before making an assessment of the situation, or presenting his idea for the problem / task at hand. Completes tasks without a lot of chit-chat back and forth in the various chat channels. Because of that, Amir gives away the impression that he more then often "works in the shadows", and often manages to just present the end result, just like that. When Amir says that he's gonna do something, he does it and that's that. No fuzz, no back and forth (unless more explaining needs to be done), he just gets on top of things and solves whatever problem/issue/task it might be. Working remotely is something that Amir does flawlessly. He's punctual, pays attention on the team meetings and contributes to discussions when / where he is able to. Understands all the basic stuff really well, like for example the online presence of oneself, and how to "do" that in a good manner. A pleasure to have him on any team meeting. During our 3 years of working together, Amir has demonstrated that he understands and enacts upon everything with regards to the Agile methodology (Scrum framework) which we used in the organisation, and with our (client) teams. The dedication of getting the job done from Amir's side, made the day-to-day work a breeze for his colleges. All in all, an awesome team player. Superb communicator when it comes to the everyday (online) communication, be it with the internal or the client / stakeholder team. I have no doubt in my mind that Amir would be a huge asset to any (Scrum) team / organisation. Especially when it comes to remote work since, in that field he has accumulated a lot of experience, and knows how to perform it really well. All the best and hope to work with you again in the future Amir!
