Oversee marketing/comms strategy to move prospective students through the admission funnel (prospect->inquiry->applicant->admit) and ultimately commit to USF.-Lifecycle marketing: Manage custom email campaigns across 20 unique populations.-Sales enablement/GTM strategy: Collaborate with the admission (sales) team to craft messaging and narrative, design user flow, and launch new products to improve retention or reengage low performing populations: e.g. new scholarships, enrollment plans, free online courses, a custom application, conditional admission program, etc. -Served as lead writer for student-facing portals and application status pages, ~70+ custom snippets and email notifications based on student population and their stage in the cycle.-Build relationships with 40+ faculty members to elicit student success stories, experiential learning opportunities, and unique value props.-Write comms for experimental offerings during the pandemic (campus visits, deferral process, free online courses to prevent summer melt). In total, our team promoted 60+ virtual events. Our efforts contributed to a 4% increase in applications, 9% increase in deposited (committed) students, and 29% decrease in summer melt (from fall 2020 to fall 2021 incoming class).-Work with external agency to redesign print brochures, admission packets, and posters for recruitment and retention.-Digital marketing: Revised webpages to optimize for SEO, selected keywords for digital ad campaign based on current keyword rankings Show less
