I had the pleasure of working with Matt at Mendocino Private Industry Council. Matt is an excellent presenter. Part of his job was to develop and present workshops to the job seekers that we served. I was always extremely impressed when I had the pleasure of attending any of Matt’s workshops. Matt’s presentations were always well-prepared, well-researched and current. He was able to engage the audience and respond to their questions and comments. Matt also worked well with clients individually. Another part of his job was to assist customer with career exploration utilizing a variety of assessment tools. Matt was able to easily connect with customers from a variety of backgrounds. He is good at explaining complex ideas. I observed that he was very accommodating – always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that customer’s needs were met and to accommodate their schedules. I also observed that Matt was very well-liked and well-respected by the customers that we served. Several customers shared with me how much they learned from Matt’s presentations and/or in their individual assessment sessions. His enthusiasm and his desire to be of assistance were welcomed by our customers. Matt was also a great co-worker. He facilitated an atmosphere of teamwork, was always willing to step in and help with any project and he was fun to work with.

Matt is a high energy guy with a passion for working with youth. This energy is focused toward recreation, especially as it relates to the every day general public, not just the jocks and athletes, with a secondary focus on training, motivation and general self improvement. Matt walks through life with honesty and a high moral code.
