Robert (Bob) Shimmel

Victor has been a core member of our Madison Area Job Transition (MAJT) Resource Team, almost from the start in 2009. As our legal specialist, he has played a very vital role in helping attendees better understand employment law, unemployment benefits, and serve as a resource advising the group on key legislative matters. In any of these areas, Victor has worked one-on-one with complete confidentiality. He has earned the respect of MAJT meeting attendees, especially in his ability to explain complex legal matters in simple, understandable terms. He has filled as the meeting leader and did an excellent job in communicating and relating to program attendees. Victor has offered many good ideas as to how to improve the quality of our program to the unemployed, underemployed, and those concerned abou their work future. The outcome of our group has been enhanced through Victor's efforts.
