I have worked with John Kirk for over 6 years at WorldHeart Inc. During this time John was a key contributor to the design, development, clinical studies, and manufacturing of the Levacor Left Ventricular Assist Device system. John was the Animal Trials Manager. He was a strong team player and was always willing to offer help and support for the good of the company. He worked tirelessly to arrange and administer animal trials and to provide critical input to the design/development team. His support to the clinical trials was invaluable to the project. He provided key input to product functional testing and was always willing to work irregular schedules as needed. It was a pleasure to work with John. His professionalism is unmatched and his reports and recommendations were always consise and well done. I can, without hesitation recommend John Kirk for any opportunity that he may choose to pursue.

I’ve worked with John for more than 10 years at World Heart and MedQuest before that. John has several characteristics that will make him successful in his next position: 1) John is a great team player. Understands how his role fits into the organization, and is willing to work hard to make the organization successful. 2) He has the initiative to see what needs to be done in a given situation either take care of it, or bring to the attention of appropriate people. 3) John has a wide range of skills and experience that include an understanding of patient care and business/analytic skills. He could be successful in a wide range of positions. John is a contentious, hard working, dedicated employee, and was a part of really great team at MedQuest and World Heart.
