  I was involved in a Tucson Zoo project. We developed an elephant food pellet launcher in which was loaded with elephant bite sized snacks and dispensed the food across the enclosure. We developed software that pressurizes an air tank, fills and refills the barrel of the launcher, and shoots the food to a distance of 100 to 150 feet based on the pressure in the tank.
