I play many roles with the company but currently work with our Projects team. The Projects team handles the build and implementation of organizations infrastructure. This includes entire network, servers, virtual machines, Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and backup solutions. The types of servers we build are domain controllers, app servers, SQL servers, backup servers. We primarily support Fortinet and Meraki as our network infrastructure solutions. We use HP for our on prem servers. • IT Specialist/Manager Salesforce Administrator
      • May 2015 - Jun 2020

At Open Sky, I was the point of contact for all technology related issues. I was the sole IT personnel at Open Sky and dedicate a lot of time and focus on that. I worked directly with our Managed Services Provider (Kosh Solutions) to maintain tech functionality within the company. I also acted as the Senior Salesforce Administrator and oversaw one employee that managed the database. We overhauled the existing system and implemented many additions. Open Sky is a heavily integrated organization when it comes to Salesforce. I worked with several third parties and consultants to ensure full functionality for the organization. Within my technology role, I managed a wide variety of services. These could include; computer management/maintenance (Apple and Microsoft), mobile device management (phones/tablets), Server management, all software services/subscriptions, phone system management, handheld radio management, SAT phone management, cellular boosters/towers, web services with regard to social media and the website, and extensive Salesforce management. Open Sky is an ever changing and growing company that requires a lot of growth in technology. I was constantly researching new services or ideas on how to better serve the employees and customers. • Feb 2014 - Jan 2015

I was offered a position as a System Administrator and took it without reservation. Coming from a collectively technological background, I knew this was the direction I wanted to go in. At the company, I was immediately given a lot of responsibility. I provided desktop and laptop support for both Windows and Mac clients. I managed and maintained roughly 400 employees. I gained knowledge on server support with Mac OS X Server, Ubuntu 12.04LTS, and Windows Server 2008 R2. Being that this is a newspaper publishing company, I had to learn their operations, and quickly. Press software, file sharing and distribution were among the services learned. I assisted in publishing news articles to their website. I administered the WordPress sites for users and forms. I worked with graphic artists and web developers to build Classified and Celebration sites for customers to place advertisements. I gained experience in a range of Adobe products as a result. I also manage Active Directory and Open Directory. I helped bring in new equipment that allows for better functionality and reliability. I worked with Cisco, Meraki, APC, Ruckus, and several ISPs to accommodate our multi-site support. I provided Mobile Device Management to our iPhone users with Meraki. I learned something new, every day. Show less
