Caroline Waddams
Paul was Head of HR Commercial in the Hovis Division of Premier Foods, based at the Hovis Head Office in Windsor and he was my line manager for about a year. At that time, I was new to managing a team and Paul gave me a tremendous amount of support and direction in my new role, which was invaluable. Paul has very good listening skills but at the same time likes to challenge your thinking. Also, he is very good at allowing individuals to take on responsibility and develop in their roles. He was a pleasure to work for and I am happy to recommend him.

During 2009/10 Paul worked with me on a restructure of Charnwood Foods senior team. Paul provided excellent advice during the proposal stage which ensured my restructure was approved. As we managed consultation Paul and his team gave expert advice and supported me through a difficult and lengthy process. Following the reorganisation a recruitment process was managed from Paul’s office which has delivered a 1st class solution for Charnwood. The results are now flowing through. A tough task made a lot easier due to Pauls input.
