I had an opportunity to work with Dr.Guillermo Ahumada in the IBS, South Korea. During my training in the lab, he showed an outstanding mentorship with his remarkable knowledge of nanocatalysis, organic synthesis, and NMR analysis. Moreover, Guillermo made significant contributions to the team and other colleagues during his work. I find his leadership character and communication skills very impressive, which led him to achieve many successes in our group. I strongly recommend Dr.Guillermo Ahumada as a hard-working researcher, enthusiastic mentor, and scientific leader.
Collin Cahoon
Guillermo is a talented chemist with expertise in synthesis, organometallics, nanochemistry, and polymers. He is also very skilled with electrochemical analysis and synthesis as well as single-crystal XRD and managed the associated equipment in the research center we worked in. It is also worth mentioning that he is quite tech-savvy and managed our server and data backup systems. He is an excellent coworker and was always willing to assist with training, data analysis, writing or editing manuscripts, or any other task with a smile on his face. On a personal level, Guille is very hardworking but also always a joy to be around. Overall, Guille was a major asset to our lab and a pleasure to work with.
