  I get excited about other people's ideas, and I love seeing them come to life! That's how I found myself delving into graphic design and anything from basic video editing to book publishing. I particularly enjoy those early stages when your brilliant life-changing idea is just a thought rolling around in your mind, and you need some help to get it moving.   When I started volunteering part-time with Hopelands they were doing all their design in-house. To help them reduce costs, improve design quality and meet their project deadlines I advised they outsource to the Church Media Squad. The Squad (as we fondly called them) offer unlimited designs for a flat monthly fee. I was responsible for collaborating with various ministry leaders to create design briefs that accurately captured their needs and then liaise with the Squad to create the design pieces accordingly. Occasionally a project arose that did not allow for us to outsource due to time constants so I would complete the design project myself. Show less
