Bio
John Coniglio
Tracey and I worked at opposite ends of a phone line long before we met. We shared photos with each other's newspapers, often on overdue deadlines. No matter how busy Tracey was, he always called me back when I had a request, and I never missed a deadline on his account.. The grim-reaper of newspapers got to him first, but he landed on his feet, replacing my former boss at the Chattanooga paper. Since then he has been an encourager to me, and based on the work I see in the paper, an inspiration to his staff.
Donna Rowlinson
A creative eye, a wealth of knowledge and a willingness to listen to new ideas. Those are just a few of qualities that make Tracey one of those rare people, who if you're lucky you come across once or twice in your career. He not only made my job easier but his contributions to the Multimedia Department at the Sun-Sentinel made that department one of the best within the Tribune family of newspapers. One of the things I admire most about Tracey is his ability to take charge of a project while still being open to other people's ideas and input. Leadership sits easily on Tracey and his generosity of spirit makes him a joy to work with. I know I am better at my job for having worked with him.
