After the acquisition I continued to work on the Lynda.com project working on the new checkout experience to increase conversions. After that was the migration of customers to LinkedIn Learning. I moved to working on our Content Admin System for delivering our content to Linkedin Learning. I started doing phone interviews. Later transitioned to our Flagship project working on the Online Jobs team. Started off as a Contract to Hire position and quickly for hired on Full Time. Started off working on Newsletters and then transitioned to working on the main website. The site was built with a ASP.Net C# backend and restful API and a Custom HTML/CSS and JQuery frontend. I often worked on the api layer down doing C# along with other frontend technologies. After being promoted to Senior UI Engineer I took over as the lead interviewer conducting all of the frontend interviews. One of my largest projects was sitespeed. I worked to get the sitespeed down from 10-12 seconds to just a few seconds working with SRE and other team members to get it accomplished.
