Leslie Robinette was a close colleague of mine throughout the entire time that I worked at the Administration Office of North Clackamas School District. I worked in the Human Resources Dept. at the Front Desk of Admin..while Leslie was only a few doors down the hall in Community Relations. We had daily contact with each other for answering Community Related questions from various visitors and parents that called our office, etc. Leslie was just a wealth of information for me during my employment at the front desk of NC Admin., and I truly appreciated her loyalty to children and families across the board. I wish her only the best in all of her endeavors. Erin Wright, Facilities Secretary

As a leader in the Communications & Partnership Development Team, I initiate and fund innovative projects to support youths from birth to grade 12 in a diverse suburban community. Focus areas include Family Support, Strategic Communications, Partnership Development, Grant Writing, Community Building, Racial Equity, Literacy Supports, Asset Building, Family Involvement, Confucius Classroom coordination, Nutrition Support, and Research. Strategic communications work includes incident response communications, social media content management, website management, print publications, news media relations, electronic newsletters, video shorts, photography, internal communications, parent communications, focus groups, surveys, political advocacy campaigns and incident response communications. As leader of the Gladstone Food Pantry, I managed 70 volunteers, oversaw food supplies, built donor relationships, developed partnerships, and managed technology. In 2017, the pantry provided food to more than 6,000 visitors. As leader of the Backpack Buddies program, I forged partnerships with six churches, Rotary, Clackamas County, and two corporate partners, increasing the number of families served weekly from 60 to 94. As the district liaison to the Gladstone Kids Clothes Closet, I worked to recruit four new partner groups when three others dropped out of the project during the pandemic. My grant writing brought the district more than $400,000 since 2013. This provided $80,000 for a 7-district collaborative on trauma-informed education, $63,000 for a middle school AVID program, $45,000 to launch the Confucius Classroom program, and $138,000 for sixth grade Outdoor School. As a nationally accredited public relations professional and past president of the Oregon School Public Relations Association, I serve as mentor to colleagues in several neighboring school districts.
