  I have written for several local magazines and newspapers, including The Herald-Sun, University City Magazine, and Charlotte Parent Magazine. My pieces also have been featured in many national publications, including NPR, Adoption Today, Neurology Now, Faith and Family Magazine, and Liver Health Today. My personal essays have been published in a variety of print anthologies, including Pets Across America #2 and Root Exposure: New Voices in Literature; I was the "Famous Operas" writer for The Daily Book of Classical Music book, as well as a contributing writer for The National Council for Adoption's Adoption Factbook.
