● As a State of Hawaii employee I was responsible for creating and carrying out lesson plans for elementary to middle school-aged students. ● I was recruited by the principal of an at-risk elementary school located in Kalihi, Oahu and tasked with raising language arts scores for standardized testing for students in the 5th grade; many of whom were English language learners. ● Upon moving back to Kauai in 2016, I was recruited by Koloa Elementary to work as a full-time substitute teacher for a 5th grade class. I was tasked with creating daily lesson plans, attending educator planning events and meetings, and staying after school to participate in counselor/parent Individualized Education Plan (IEP) discussions; which gave me experience in preparing clear and concise reports. ● I maintained a reliable structure for students and helped see them through their standardized testing at the end of the school year. Proud member of a small family owned business that liquidates 4-and-5 star Resorts across Maui and Kauai, and resells to the public. My duties include marketing, scheduling, administrative accounting, customer service and transactions; as well as scheduling and coordinating delivery services. I am also responsible for site checks at the major resorts to provide quotes for service. Show less
