  Ulm Area, Germany I've written my master thesis dealing with the step and heading detection through unconstrained smartphones. Branch of dead reckoning in indoor localization. I had to store data from the inertial sensors of Android smartphones, through an application written in Java, and had to evaluate the best algorithm, in terms of accuracy and velocity, in Matlab, which allowed to rebuild the covered path.
