Bruce Ross
I have known Stirling for 20 years, initially when he was given a Sports Scholarship in Wrestling while I was President of Sydney Uni Sport and Fitness. That same year I lectured him in Introductory Microeconomics. Despite the class size of about 1,200 I remember him well. He also took my two semester course in Business Enterprise and Corporate Strategy in the senior year of his undergraduate degree. In both the sporting and academic spheres he exhibited a singular degree of drive and determination. We have kept in close contact ever since. I continue to be impressed by, but not surprised by, the way he has charted his own unique path in building a very successful career and public profile.
