Technology Owner for QlikView and Business Objects Responsibilities include:- Support and Administration of QlikView and Business Objects, technical strategy of Data & BI tools for several AXA UK operating companies, product licensing, vendor liaison, risk assessment & mitigation and formulation of best practice. Key achievements include: • Implemented AXA’s first QlikView environment which has grown from hosting 4 applications initially to in excess of 60 in 18 months with around 300 users and is now a critical part of the company’s month end financial reporting. • Developed a strategy for strengthening the QlikView infrastructure to cope with expected increase in demand and to ensure that performance of the application is not compromised for end users during the busy month end processing period. • Technical lead for the successful upgrade of AXA’s Business Objects platform from v2 to v3.1. This platform hosts over 2000 reports and has around 500 users.
