Bio
Kathleen V. D.
Although, I have now known Gretchen for several years and have had the pleasure of interacting with her outside of the classroom, I first became acquainted with Gretchen while studying at the Harvard Extension School during our "Strategic Management for Non-Profits" class. In this class, I was able to observe Gretchen's task management style and in addition her writing skills through our group project. During this project, she kept us, her fellow group members, on track and focused. She achieved these tasks with respect and a calm demeanor. Her contributions (management and writing) enabled us to achieve a top grade. While, I haven't yet had the chance to work with Gretchen in a professional office based setting, I am 100% positive that she would and does bring the same to that sort of environment and I hope to get the chance to work with her again.

Throughout my time at Harvard, Gretchen was a trusted confidant and sage advisor. She initially assisted me in organizing my curriculum, providing sound guidance with care and candor. It was these early interactions that introduced me to Gretchen's exceptional professionalism. She is methodical, meticulous and insightful, and over time I would often seek Gretchen's advice. Whether via email or in person, Gretchen always made herself available and willing to assist. The care, concern and dedication with which she pursues her work is remarkable. She is an unsung hero at Harvard, and it has been a true pleasure working with her.
