I have known Kurt for over 20 years. I was Director of Sales at the Holiday Inn Convention Center when Kurt ran the city's facilities next door. Kurt was easy to work with and communicated well as we worked together with convention groups. Kurt was instrumental in completing a walkway between our two properties, working through obstacles and details of having a railroad trestle modified which was located in the path of the walkway. Kurt worked diligently to bring professional hockey to this west Texas town. I didn't believe it was possible but Kurt did it. I would be a pleasure to work with Kurt again in the future on any project. Scott Zaruba, GM Inn of the Conchos

I had the pleasure of working with Kurt Rogerson while I was the Marketing Director of the Mid-Hudson Civic Center. He was knowledgeable, professional, and considerate. He brought out the best in me, and I learned to do my job better from working with him. Kurt knew how to do every job at the Center!. Kurt was determined to book events to serve every segment of our community, and to do all that he could to make every event a success. He had the ability to work effectively with all sorts of people. We were told by our industry association (IAVM) that we put out more marketing and public relations content than most of the larger facilities in the country. We won an Addy Award for our ‘Perfect Your Performance in Poughkeepsie’ campaign to book rehearsals and tour openings. Kurt and I were active in the Hudson Valley Area Marketing Association, where we developed excellent relations with area media. This paid off in many media sponsorships of events. Kurt even took advantage of a misstep by a local club denying admission to a woman for being too large, and he made it into a positive media event to promote our own event at the Center! Kurt thought about all aspects of a situation. When the operations staff was having an exhausting week doing change-overs every night, Kurt asked Howie Mandel to return to the arena several hours after his show to thank the crew. When Howie did that, Kurt had me write a press release about it. It resulted in a very nice mention in Variety about what a nice thoughtful and gracious person Howie was. Kurt was delighted to see the positive mention of Poughkeepsie in an important entertainment publication like Variety. Working with Kurt the whole staff understood the mission was to,
