  Looking after the career coaching team for our three month immersive programmes - spanning data science, user experience design and web development.The Outcomes programme is designed to help educate our students on what they need to do to succeed in their job search. During the programme, we'll help coach them on the following:+ Course specific industry communities and career progression+ Building their personal brand, both verbally and visually+ CVs and portfolios+ Digital presence - LinkedIn, social media, blogging+ Applications and interviewing+ Networking and mentorshipI work alongside my two colleagues to ensure that our students get the support they need, both on the course, and throughout the job search.   Who are we?General Assembly is a global network of campuses providing educational opportunities in technology, entrepreneurship and design. We are creating a global community of individuals empowered to pursue work they love by offering immersive programs, long-form courses and classes & workshops on the most relevant skills of the 21st century.My role as Outcomes Producer is to work with the immersive students at General Assembly, educating them on how to get that role they're looking to transition into. I help to create and foster our alumni community and job opportunities for our graduates. My main areas involve:+ Serve as the point of contact for course and immersive alumni+ Work with education producers to ensure quality execution of in-course job readiness programs + Education of students weekly during course to ensure job readiness, through classes, workshops and industry speakers.It's my responsibility to ensure:+ Students and alumni have a clear understanding of the resources available to them. They feel supported and enjoy communicating with me on a regular basis.+ To help design, organise, and execute events and programs that support the goals of Course Producers and Outcomes & Alumni team.+ Take a strategic vision for Outcomes & Alumni programs and translate it into, and execute upon, a tactical plan.   I was working within the Holborn branch of Spring Personnel, the recruitment agency which is a subsidiary of the international Adecco Group. This particular branch specialises in office-based recruitment within many sectors, including; Financial Services, Banking, Legal, Education, Charities and all Professional Services. My day-to-day job as a Candidate Resourcer was incredibly varied with tasks that include the resourcing itself, to helping the candidates in their preparation for their interview with one-to-one meetings. A large part of my job was communication and it is this liaising with both clients and candidates that is probably where I am at my strongest. Show less
