  Direct the chairs of 10 academic departments and serve as an indirect supervisor for all faculty and support staff within each department. Provide administrative leadership, direction, support, and foster team collaboration for all departments that ensure operational excellence is maintained. • Continuously communicate with all departments and university units that ensure optimized program and administrative support is provided for each and every student. • Oversee curriculum development and any needed changes that ensure subjects are updated with the latest information available for student instruction in each college level course. • Manage personnel recruitment, interviews, evaluation, tenure, promotion, termination, and other staffing requirements that ensures the most qualified candidates are chosen and implemented into the university.• Facilitate daily administrative duties including budget oversight, allocation, and procurement. • Support pedagogical development by implementing New Faculty Learning Community for transitioning new professors and instructors into the current university system. • Train staff on student advisement and develop social events and opportunities that promote faculty acclimation into the Dickinson area and campus community. • Partner with all university departments to schedule students for courses needed to graduate in a timely manner. • Collaborate with Academic Records office in implementing a electronic scheduling system that streamlines the internal scheduling process.
