I created a recipe for an all-natural tonic syrup that is ready to go when you are. Only fresh ingredients go into the tonic syrup, making it taste unique and refreshing. You need only add your type of gin or vodka and seltzer water with the syrup and you have the perfect drink! As a start-up, we are currently in pre-production. I organised a replica slave ship and visitors programme for a 10-day long exhibition,‘Free at Last?’, to commemorate the bicentenary of the abolition of the slave trade. The ship was moored o the Thames for 10 days with approximately 10,000 visitors. Part of my earlier tasks were to research and write the entire copy for the Transatlantic Slave Trade, as well as sourcing images. I designed and arranged the exhibition’s multi-media aspects (touch/visual/audio). More practically, I managed the mooring logistics of the ship, as well as the three exhibition sites, and the twenty volunteers. I conducted presentations on board the ship for visitors and facilitated three panel discussions.
