Musixmatch Curators are active users who have proven their commitment to adding fully transcribed, quality lyrics to the site. Curators have to pass a transcription test that assesses their own transcriptions, formatting skills, and proofreading of other users' transcriptions.

I transcribe and format song lyrics according to Musixmatch's transcription guidelines, as well as occasionally syncing lyrics with song timestamps via the Musixmatch desktop app. I find songs from Spotify editorial playlists and Soundcloud, focusing on independent pop artists. To date, I have transcribed over 60 songs.

I made two themed playlists on Soundcloud each week to be posted on VOLUP2's website, mixing both mainstream and undiscovered artists to give a platform to up-and-comers. Playlists were a combination of my own theme ideas and prompts created by VOLUP2 founder Velvet D'Amour, such as "Empty Nightclub," "Highway Kebab at 3am," and "Feminist Perfume." I curated over 40 playlists for the magazine. I helped artist and educator Greg Nemec in teaching one and a half semesters of a weekly studio art class that included students from first to eighth grade. At the end of my senior year, I worked with Thomas Baffuto, the AP Psychology teacher and social studies department chair of Pleasantville High School, to create study guides and learning resources for future students. I spent much of my time inputting practice AP exam questions on Castle Learning, and though that was supposed to take up the whole internship period, I finished in only 2-3 weeks, leaving time to create printable study guides and research potential classroom projects to help students enrich their understanding of the AP Psychology curriculum.
