Practiced and memorized multiple different scripts. Made calls on leads to book appointments, went to family's homes to propose potential life insurance plans that fit that family's needs. Sometimes involved travel. Budgeted for the team food, gas, and hotel stay. Held conference meetings and delegated jobs to fellow employees. Practiced and memorized multiple different scripts. Started weeks before opening, helped "set up" the restaurant and kitchen to be ready to open. Practiced routine opening and closing procedures once we were established. Ensured the work space was always clean and sanitized for food preparation. Helped maintain consistency with all dishes sent out of the kitchen. Was able to perform any of the three cooking stations: fry side, flat top, or grill. Learned basic measurements, knife skills, and cooking procedures. Put delivery trucks away, maintaining an organized work environment. Helped keep the bar stocked during busy nights, restocking cases of beer, red bull, and sometimes kegs, keeping the inventory rotated. Show less

I began as a sandwich builder making four 3-foot subs as quickly as I could. After becoming familiar with all the different builds I was eager to try different jobs within the assembly line. What fit me best was the packaging. Extremely fast pace environment with little time for error. Sandwiches would come off a conveyor belt and i would package them and sort the boxes into cases and cases into pallets. End of day the pallets would be wrapped according to which shipment they were for. I began as a sandwich builder making four 3-foot subs as quickly as I could. I started off as a dishwasher working nights, then moved up to a prep cook working morning shifts on the weekends. After building an understanding on how everything was prepared I cooked some lunch shifts before the business moved. I followed Idaho Chucks into Agave Kitchen as the new business opened I started off as a dishwasher working nights, then moved up to a prep cook working morning shifts on the weekends.
