Appointment Scheduler
-
Feb 2014 - Oct 2014
My primary responsibility is to assist patients in getting in to be treated by one of the six orthopedic specialists in the office. I assess the urgency of the issue the patient is experiencing and schedule them accordingly. I also generate all of the surgery estimates for the patients. This ensures the patients have an estimated price for out of pocket costs and also shows what portion of the surgery would be covered by insurance. Overall, my position insures patients are being treated with care from the time the appointment is made through the time they walk in for surgery. Show less

Office Manager
-
Aug 2012 - Feb 2014
As the Office Manager for Biltmore Psychology and Counseling, I wore many hats. My main focus was establishing a quality care experience for patients unlike any other practice in the Phoenix area. I was in charge of all front end office operations which included answering phones, scheduling patients, providing proper paperwork, registering each patient, and insuring each patient was provided with excellent care up until the point where they actually met with the clinician. I oversaw back office operation as well, managed all bookkeeping, and assisted in marketing and optimization of the practice. Show less

Customer Service Associate
-
Jan 2012 - May 2012
I obtained this job right after graduation from my undergraduate program. As a customer service associate, I helped guide customers through their online business credit profile over the phone. After about two months of working, I was offered a promotion to a floor walking position. In this position, I monitored the floor and assisted any other customer service associates with any issues they were having. With this job, I gained a better understanding of business credit and business etiquette. I also obtained leadership and communication skills as a floor walker, because I often times was giving direction to coworkers who had been with the company longer than I had. Show less

Student Assistant Manager
-
Sep 2009 - Dec 2011
NAU Fund Phonathon is a program within Northern Arizona University advancement. When I first started this job, I was a student caller. This required me to call alumni, parents, students, and supporters of the university and ask them to contribute to our campaign. It was a requirement to keep your donation percentages up and after my first semester calling, I became on of the top callers at the fund. Then in May of 2011, I was promoted to a student manager at the fund. As a student manager, it was my duty to prep the calling lists and get everything organized prior to the callers arriving for their shift. I also was trusted to process credit card transactions over the phone, which required clearance into a different program. Lastly, I was in charge of keeping all student callers on track and making sure they were meeting their quotas. If the callers were having any issues, I was responsible for coaching them and helping them attain their goals. Show less
