This provided a solid background into my interest in Landscape Architecture. Once admitted into the graduate school I began to seek creative and adaptive solutions towards real world conditions through research by design. Various studios, seminars, workshops and lectures over the years have molded my perception of the world towards a design thinking that focuses on landscape urbanism and contemporary landscape design that is built upon collaborative methodologies. This deep interest of the built environment led me into pursuing a dual masters in Community Planning. This interest allowed me to seek knowledge on sustainable urban communities at scales ranging from the neighborhood to the region. Additionally, I have also served as a graduate research assistant for three years, participated on multiple charettes, attended several national and regional conferences, and served as an officer for the student chapter of the ASLA.
