  As a PhD candidate at the University of Amsterdam, Meredith's research focuses on policy innovation, knowledge transfer, and capacity building for accelerated implementation of sustainable transport goals. Her research has been published in several academic journals and she has given expert comment for numerous media articles. She has acquired nearly €1mil in grants and manages the academic output for European Commission projects (CYCLEWALK and HANDSHAKE), including hosting learning events, consortium coordination, evaluation, and supervising junior staff. She also co-directs the summer program Planning the Cycling City, and co-developed and -produced the massive online open course Unraveling the Cycling City.
