I got the privilege of meeting Tod while at Publicis helping coordinate cross collaboration between different innovation/ emerging technology teams. One of our priorities was developing an innovation lab template across the holding company so we could pool the best thinking from various kinds of labs and innovation spaces. The results are being used to reimagine the NYC lab space currently being built out and hopefully future labs/ workshops in different markets. The lab Tod helped design, build and operate at Leo Burnett in Chicago is one of the most impressive I've seen in my career. I could tell that it was a much-loved space by employees and clients. The amount of effort he put into curation of the space was impressive the tech was always getting updated and editorial that went along with it was excellent. On top of that he had one of the best running and read email newsletters across Publicis Groupe without fail it came daily which is a feat given how busy Tod and his team was daily. Apart from the lab I found he has a great ability to pull people together from across the holding company and put them to work on a common client objective. I hope we get to cross paths again.
