Lance and I have been colleagues for more than a decade. As owner of an art consulting business, I've promoted Lance's fine art photography and sold a large number of his prints, including commissioned photographs, to many corporate collectors in the Greater Boston area. He is undoubtedly one of the best night photographers in New England, If not the entire East Coast. Lance approaches working behind the camera with the same care and precision he applies to all other aspects of his work, whether handling or installing art, designing an exhibition, public speaking/gallery talks or writing. I would recommend Lance for any position that involves working as an art professional. His skills are versatile and the end results are consistently excellent. I first took Lances Night photography workshop in 2001, and have attended 2 or 3 workshops with him since. I can honestly say that it has been a life-changing experience, because it started a great and meaningful pursuit for me. He is a wonderful and knowledgeable coach, taking time with each of his students to discuss their approach to shooting. His love of photography is obvious and he can inspire and teach at the same time. His own work is breathtakingly beautiful and technically superb. I can credit Lance with awakening my own interest in night photography. I can recommend his workshops highly to both beginners and advanced photographers.

-Curated over 20 exhibits tailored to this unique gallery space-Responsibilities included designing exhibits, interviewing artists, selecting artwork, publicity and coordination of installation, receptions, and deinstallation of work. The highlight of this experience was a group exhibit of contemporary American night photography that featured the work of 32 regionally and nationally known photographers that ran in conjunction with another exhibit of the night photography of my own students' work from the New England School of Photography and from my photography workshops. A website was created to preserve the exhibit for posterity, and the main exhibit was later shown at the Boston Convention Center and Art Complex Museum in Duxbury, MA.
