This project investigates the effect of Uraemic Toxins on vascular reactivity in Chronic Kidney Disease, associated with cardiovascular disease, where I'll be involved in investigating a novel treatment therapy to reduce cardiovascular disease risks in patients with chronic kidney disease.Following the completion of the Bachelor of Science, degree with Honours, I presented my research work at the Biomed Link 2017 Conference (poster presentation) and at the High Blood Pressure Research Council of Australia 2017 Annual Scientific Meeting Conference (oral presentation).

The International Liaison Officer (ILO) at International House College organises cultural activities and events to promote multiculturalism and celebrate all nationalities and cultures within the college community. ILO also leads the Cultural Committee team, and together organise cultural outings around Melbourne, and provide entertainment for community dinners. ILO is also head of the Cultural Inter-Actions Week, leading a team of students to welcome, lead and manage new incoming students in a week of activities with the purpose to integrate them into the college community and introducing them to Melbourne's culture and local environment.

The given biomedical science research project looks into the molecular substrates of cardiomyopathy, particularly regarding the role of connexin dysfunction in cardiac pathologies. This project is a 'discovery' review of literature relating to a molecular candidate of interest, connexins, with the involvement of experimental shadowing for first screen molecular investigations and corroborative analysis of initial data.
