As a community living Support worker my responsibilities are to work one on one with clients on behavioral issues in a social environment. I meet with a caseworker facilitator each month to discuss each client's plan of care and strategies to meet their goals. I am able to participate in case management each month and create a plan of care and goal chart according to each client's need. The client's under my care range from ages 7-18 years old. I treat client's with disabilities ranging from ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, as well as Autism. I meet weekly with clients to work on behavior and social skills in the community. We often address the client's plan of care in anger, aggression, and emotional awareness and how they can express themselves through positive communication. I am responsible for completing my own billing and invoices for each month. I am also responsible for completing a comprehensive report at the end of the session. In each report I give details regarding the events of the day and their behavioral progress. These reports are then looked over by my supervisor before being turned in and filed in the clients profile.
