George Reed was nominated to become a member of the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) by fulfilling our chapter’s high requirements and went beyond. He maintained a 2.5 GPA (our NTHS standard is 3.6 or higher) and well above our minimum of 90% attendance, was helpful and always respectful to staff and fellow students; he was a model student. Our membership elected Mr. Reed to become president. He helped out with all of our fundraising efforts and Induction Ceremonies. The officers decided to facilitate recycling of phone books. George offered the use of his truck bed for at least two weeks to store them. We collected phone books from the school’s offices; he also gathered them from his work place. I whole-heartedly recommend George Reed; he would be a diligent, engaged and dependable employee.
