Bio
Tami Garvin
George Ford is an asset to our community; he is the expert in all things financial going on within the corridor and in business in general. He's also a fantastic writer and a personable person.
Kathlene Kyle
Our local reporters, writers, newspaper and broadcast staff are the best, in my opinion. During the 2008 flood, George and the entire Gazette staff put in long hours with limited electrical power and no running water for weeks to bring our community the news. (And, I might add, without air-conditioning.) In the middle of that huge, wather-created crisis, George continued to provide terrific coverage, including a story about Apache - which we loved! It's a real testament to George and the whole staff that our community was kept informed during such a terrible event. That coverage helped to bring us together as a city.
